The creation of Brotherhood: A Cinematic Musical continues to move very quickly. The past two weeks found us in the studio with some of Utah’s top musicians recording the instrumental tracks for each of the 17 songs. It was exciting to say the least, and we can't wait to share more with you.

Behind the Scenes Video Series

Today we’re excited to announce the release of the first in a series of behind-the-scenes videos about the creation of Brotherhood. These videos are available to our subscribers only, and we hope you enjoy them. 

Episode 1: The Origin of the Idea explores how Brotherhood went from idea to funded feature film in just six weeks. The episode is now live at this link. 

Episode 2 drops in two weeks along with some exciting announcements!

February 12th Livestream

Some of you have asked if there might be another opportunity to hear me present the script and score of the film. While we don’t currently have plans for additional live presentations, on Thursday February 12th at 6:30 PM MT, I’ll be presenting an hour-long livestream that will include many portions of the script and quite a few songs. 

This is a great opportunity to invite friends and family to experience what Brotherhood is and to catch the spirit of what we’re creating. This is a subscriber-only event, so those who would like to tune in should go here to RSVP so they can receive the link. The presentation will be available both in real time and after the initial broadcast for later viewing.

We now have donation links live (one-time or monthly) for anyone who wants to help the message of Brotherhood move forward. The production of our film is funded, but we’re actively gathering funds to help us push the film’s message and build audience awareness for its release. 

These are contributions—not investments—and they will support the real work of building momentum for the film and its movement behind the scenes. An Invitation to Greater Love

Finally, as we’ve watched difficult things taking place in Minneapolis and across the country in recent weeks, our hearts have been drawn out to the many who are suffering across diverse communities. 

Sometimes, when we see things like this happening, we ask ourselves, “What can I do?” Yes, there are worthwhile causes to donate to, and we encourage participation in those ways. However, there’s something even simpler and closer to home that each of us can do. When faced with growing hatred in the world, our greatest opportunity is to counteract that hate with greater love right within our own sphere. 

For me, I’m trying to proactively ask myself every day, “What can I do to fill my world with greater love today?” That sentiment is the spirit of Brotherhood and the driving force behind everything we’re working on. I hope you’ll join us in sharing greater love with those in your sphere.
